Bespoke Key was founded by Beacan Mottl after a simple but persistent observation: every premium vehicle on the road, regardless of prestige, is handed over with an identical plastic key. For someone who built their career around the principle that no detail of a client's experience should be overlooked, that was unacceptable.
With a background rooted in luxury service and a deep belief that distinguished people deserve objects that reflect their standard, Beacan set out to build the company that should already exist. Bespoke Key is the result: a commission atelier dedicated to crafting key fobs that are worthy of the vehicles they unlock, and the lives they represent.

Beacan Mottl founded Bespoke Key from a conviction shaped by years working at the intersection of high standards and personal service. He came to understand that the people who care most about quality notice every detail - including the one object they reach for first every morning and set down last every evening.
His background in luxury client services gave him both the conviction and the language to articulate why this matters. When you have spent time understanding what genuine quality feels like and what it communicates, a plastic key fob is not a minor inconvenience. It is a failure of finish at the exact point where every day begins.

We source exclusively from suppliers who serve the finest watchmakers and jewellers in the world. Every component, from the titanium shell to the thread used in stitching, is held to the standard of fine horology.
Complete technical fidelity
The original electronics of your key are preserved in their entirety. Every function your manufacturer designed, from proximity detection to push-start operation, performs precisely as intended.
Absolute individuality
No two Bespoke Keys are identical. Every commission begins from first principle: your vehicle, your materials, your monogram, your specification. We do not offer catalogue products. We accept individual commissions.
Heirloom construction
A Bespoke Key is not designed to last as long as your vehicle. It is designed to outlast it. We construct each key to the standard of an object that will be passed on as a record of distinguished ownership.
The Craft

Every Bespoke Key begins as a billet of Grade 5 titanium and concludes as a functional object of lasting beauty. The process between those two states is one of progressive refinement, informed by the traditions of fine horology, exotic leatherwork, and aerospace manufacture.
We draw direct inspiration from the work of Awain, the Finnish atelier whose extraordinary commissions for Bentley, Bugatti, and Rolls-Royce proved that the standard we aspire to was achievable. Our aim is to bring that level of craft to a wider range of distinguished vehicles, accessible by individual commission.
OEM Electronics Preserved
We extract or clone your original transponder chip and circuit board. Every function your manufacturer designed performs precisely as intended. No reprogramming. No dealer visits. No compromise of your vehicle's systems.
Materials of Consequence
Grade 5 titanium. Carbon fibre bezels. Full-grain hand-selected leathers including lizard skin, ostrich, and calfskin. Sapphire crystal button faces sourced from Swiss watch component suppliers. Precious stone accents. A polycarbonate RF window, precision-fitted and entirely invisible to the eye.
One Hundred to Three Hundred Hours
Each commission receives dedicated craft time at our atelier. CNC machining is followed by hand-finishing, hand-stitching, stone setting where specified, and a final inspection under jeweller's loupe. Each completed key is individually numbered.
